Aquarium is an interactive installation that emulates a small aquatic ecosystem inside of a water tank. It hosts various species of digital creatures with different genders and behaviors, designed using physical and genetic algorithms that allows them to swim, chase, eat and reproduce in order to stay alive.
The digital creatures are projected onto the surface of the water, allowing people to interact with the ecosystem by influencing and altering its behavior.
